As we have already announced, Bulgarian national player Asparuh Asparuhov will continue his career next season with the Polish team Slepsk Malow Suwalki.
Until the end of the current campaign, the outside hitter will play for the French team Tours Volley-Ball, after the two clubs reached an agreement for a temporary loan. The Bulgarian player will reinforce the leader in Ligue A during the decisive phase \u2013 the playoffs, where the team will compete for the title.
Tours will start its participation in the eliminations against the winner of the pair Plessis Robinson/Paris Volley, entering the series as a favorite after securing first place in the regular season.
The 25-year-old outside hitter will replace Landry Cavogo, who suffered an ankle injury in the match against Tourcoing.
Asparuhov returned to Bulgaria for a day, and today departed for Paris. The national player is expected to have his first training session the same evening in the hall where Vladimir Nikolov also played.
After the end of the season in France, Asparuhov will join the preparation of the Bulgarian national team for the summer tournaments, and then will return to Suwalki for the 2026/2027 season.
