Ślepsk Malow Suwałki defeated Barkom Każany Lwów 3:2 (21:25, 25:21, 23:25, 25:14, 15:12) in a match from the 26th round of the Polish PlusLiga. Although both teams are already out of the playoff race, the encounter offered serious intrigue and lasted five sets.
Bulgarian national player Asparuh Asparuhov was among the strongest performers for the winners. He scored 17 points and had a +7 efficiency rating, recording 46% positive reception, 41% attack efficiency, and 3 blocks. The only more problematic element in his game was the serve – from 16 attempts, he made 8 errors.

An interesting moment in the match was the tactical change by coach Dominik Kwapiszewicz, who brought in Karol Jankiewicz, and Suwałki started to read the block game significantly better. This helped the visitors convincingly win the fourth set 25:14 and force the match into a tie-break.
In the decisive set, Barkom managed to equalize at 9:9, but in the end, Bartosz Filipiak took responsibility and secured the victory for Suwałki. The opposite hitter finished with 22 points and was selected as the MVP of the match.
