Bardarov and IBB lost to Gebze, who are last in the standings

Bulgarian international Denislav Bardarov and his team IBB Spor Kulübü suffered an unpleasant defeat in their away match against Gebze Belediyespor, who are last in the standings. The hosts won the match 3:0 (25:22, 25:22, 25:16) in a game from the 24th round of the Turkish championship, played on March 15.

The first two sets were relatively even, with IBB keeping pace with the score, but in crucial moments, Gebze showed greater attacking efficiency and closed out the sets with a three-point difference each. In the third set, the hosts completely controlled the events on the court, and after a convincing 25:16, they secured a clean victory.

The top scorer for Gebze's victory was Miguel Gutierrez Suarez, who scored 20 points.

Bulgarian international Denislav Bardarov finished the match with 10 points, including 1 block, and achieved 50% attacking efficiency. His teammate Bradley Gunter, who also played in the Bulgarian championship, added 12 points, but his contribution was not enough for a better result for the visitors.

Standings

Place Team Points
12 IBB Spor Kulübü 21
13 KUŞGÖZ İZMİR VİNÇ AKKUŞ BELEDİYESPOR 15

The loss does not significantly change IBB's position in the standings. The team remains in 12th place with 21 points and still has a comfortable six-point lead over the second-to-last KUŞGÖZ İZMİR VİNÇ AKKUŞ BELEDİYESPOR. Nevertheless, the defeat by Gebze, who are last in the ranking, signals serious problems in the team's performance in the final part of the season.
