The setter for the Bulgarian national volleyball team, Simeon (Moni) Nikolov, participated in an original way in the celebration of March 8 – International Women's Day. In a short video, filmed in a sports hall, the young playmaker grabbed the microphone and performed a part of the classic love song "L-O-V-E" by the legendary Nat King Cole.
Nikolov sang the iconic lines "Love is for the way you look at me…", while following the lyrics on his phone. His performance brought smiles and good cheer among those present.
A Russian hip-hop song also plays in the video, which complements the musical atmosphere of the impromptu greeting.
With this unconventional gesture, Moni Nikolov sent a pleasant musical greeting to the ladies for the holiday. The Bulgarian international, who started his career at Levski and currently plays for Lokomotiv Novosibirsk under the guidance of Plamen Konstantinov, once again showed his lively spirit both on and off the volleyball court.
