The Italian powerhouse Cucine Lube Civitanova officially announced on its club website that it has reached an agreement until the end of the season with Tunisian outside hitter Hamza Hfaiedh (Hamza Hfaiedh).

The volleyball player was born in 2002 in Thessaloniki, but holds Tunisian citizenship and is 194 cm tall. He grew up in the academy of Étoile Sportive du Sahel, where he has played from the 2020/21 season until now, and in 2022/23 also had a stint in the French Serie B with the Grand Nancy Volley-Ball team.
Hfaiedh is a Tunisian national team player and was called up for the 2025 World Championship by head coach Camillo Placì.
The outside hitter also has an individual award
– he was chosen as the best outside hitter in the Arab Champions League 2025/26, where he won a silver medal.
The new addition comes to fill the spot after the departure during the season of Iranian outside hitter Poriya Hossein Khanzadeh. In Civitanova, he will play with number 13, having already arrived in the city and trained with the Italian vice-champion's team.
Hamza Hfaiedh:
"I am happy and flattered to arrive at a great club like Lube. To play with this team in Italy is a dream come true, and I hope the second part of the season will be fantastic. I will give my all to help the club. I have watched many of the team's matches and I know that Lube has great potential. The level of the Italian championship is very high, but I feel ready to give my maximum in both training and matches."
