Close battle, decided at the end
The match started point for point, and the first set turned into a true war of nerves. After an exchange of runs and long rallies, Chełm edged out the set with 27:25. Suwałki reacted immediately and in the second set imposed stronger serves and better block organization to equalize after a convincing 25:19.
The third and fourth sets were again marked by equality. The hosts took the initiative at the end of the third set and closed it at 25:22, and in the fourth, they withstood the guests' final surge for a decisive 25:23 and a full three points.
Asparuhov solid in attack and on serve

His reception was 31% positive, and his attack efficiency reached 48%. Despite his solid performance and Bartosz Filipiak's 22 points, it was not enough for success.

The numbers show a minimal superiority for Suwałki in attack, but better block organization and more effective key rallies tilted the scales in favor of Chełm. The three-point difference in the overall tally is indicative of the even nature of the clash, but also of the hosts' better concentration at the end of the third and fourth sets.
