Lube finished the regular season with a clean victory in the "Bulgarian" derby with Monza

Cucine Lube Civitanova closed the 2025/26 regular season with a clear victory over Vero Volley Monza – 3:0 (25:21, 25:16, 25:21) in a match from the 22nd round. The match was of no significance for the hosts' standings, as they had already secured sixth place, but it boosted their confidence before the Super Cup Final Four. This was also a form of revenge for the loss away to Monza in early December last year.

The most effective player for Lube was Alex Nikolov with 16 points, a +9 efficiency rating, 1 ace, 1 block, and an impressive 64% attack efficiency. Canadian Leoppky added 10 points. The team from Civitanova dominated from serve (11 aces total) and held the initiative for most of the match.
The MVP of the match was Davi Tenorio, who finished with 7 points.

For Monza, Jasmin Velichkov finished with 6 points (-4), 1 ace, 2 blocks, and 25% in attack, recording 64% positive and 43% perfect reception. Martin Atanasov concluded with 4 points (-12), 1 ace, and 1 block, while Roehrs was the top scorer for the visitors with 8 points.

Lube controlled the first two sets without much hesitation, and in the third, they allowed the distance to shorten but reacted in time to close the match in three sets.

With this success, the Italian team enters the decisive phase of the season with good game dynamics and a wide rotation, while Monza will need to seek more stability in attack, where they finished with only 39% efficiency.
