The Bulgarian national team for boys up to 17 years old finished their participation at the World Championship for this age group with a victory, with our country hosting in Sofia. Teodor Bogdanov's boys decisively defeated their peers from Cuba with3:0 (25:23, 25:22, 25:18)in the match for 9th/10th place at the World Cup, played today at noon in front of fewer than 500 spectators in the "Levski Sofia" hall. Thus, the young Bulgarian "lion cubs" finished in 9th place in the final standings of the world championship, while Cuba remained 10th.
The most valuable player for Bulgaria was Toni Zetova's son - Daniel Tanev with 13 points (2 blocks and 50% attack efficiency) for the victory.

Alexander Dobrev (2 blocks, 2 aces, and 40% attack efficiency) and Evan Georgiev (5 blocks!and 83% attack efficiency) added 10 points each for the success.
