Vero Volley MonzadefeatedAllianz Milanowith a 3:1 (23:25, 25:18, 25:17, 25:21) victory in the derby from the penultimate round of the regular season in the Italian SuperLega. The success guarantees the team from Brianza the 8th position before the final clash against Lube on February 25.

But now I am extremely, extremely happy that we played such a good match and managed to defeat a really strong team. This is a magical moment for Vero Volley. Yes, it's incredible. The fans are the ones who give us strength every time. That's why I am very grateful to them. For the next match, we will continue to work on our strategies. We won't have any pressure because we have nothing to lose. After that, we will concentrate on the match against Perugia, against whom we will give our best with the hope of qualifying for the semifinals."
