Bulgaria recorded its fourth victory at the U20 Men's European Volleyball Championship held in Greece. The "tricolours" have only one defeat in the tournament against Italy and are second in the standings.
In the first set, the Bulgarian team had a huge advantage over the hosts. Simeon Nikolov's serves troubled the opponent's defense, and the score constantly grew. At 17:9, it was already clear that Greece had no chance in this part. Bulgaria methodically held its lead and won the first set 25:16.
The second set was an even greater display of class from the "tricolours", who won 25:13.
The third set was the most contested, and in it, the hosts managed to reach the 20-point mark.
With the victory, Bulgaria remained in second place in Group 2 with four wins and one defeat. The leader is Israel, who is undefeated in five matches so far.

Simeon Nikolov had the most points with 13 (6 aces).

Kristian Titriyski added 12 points (1 block), Kostadin Kozelov scored 9 points (2 aces, 1 block).

Tomorrow is a rest day, and on Monday, Bulgaria will face Israel.
