Bulgarian national Dimitar Dimitrov was the only volleyball player for OK Savings Bank to reach double-digit points, but this was not enough for his team in their away game against Woori Card in a match from the men's V-League 2025/2026. At Jangchung Arena in Seoul, the hosts won decisively 3:0 (25:19, 25:17, 25:19).
Woori Card continued their strong run after successes against Hyundai Capital and Korean Air, recording their third consecutive victory. The team demonstrated a balanced attack through the trio Kim Ji-han (14 pts), Araujo, and Alí (13+ pts each), which effectively neutralized the visitors' resistance.
On the other side, Dimitrov scored 14 points (42% attack efficiency) and was the only OK Savings Bank player with double-digit points. The lack of a second consistent scorer, as well as a total of 20 errors, seriously tipped the scales in favor of the hosts.
Statistics – main scorers
| Team | Player | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Woori Card | Kim Ji-han | 14 |
| Woori Card | Araujo | 13 |
| Woori Card | Alí | 13 |
| OK Savings Bank | Dimitar Dimitrov | 14 |
It is evident that the hosts distributed the attacking load among three main scorers, while for OK Savings Bank, the offense was concentrated almost entirely on Dimitrov. The lack of versatility and the high number of errors (20) were key factors for the final result.
After their third consecutive victory, Woori Card has 41 points (14 wins, 15 losses) and is just 2 points behind fourth-placed KEPCO (43 pts). OK Savings Bank remains in third position with 45 points (15 wins, 14 losses) and missed a chance to pull ahead. There is a possibility that after the end of the round, fourth-placed Korea Electric Power Corporation might overtake Dimitrov's team.
Dimitar Dimitrov's individual performance was solid in terms of points scored, but the lack of collective attacking efficiency and the high number of unforced errors deprived OK Savings Bank of real chances for resistance. The Bulgarian continues to be a leading figure in the team, but for higher goals, better synergy in attack and a lower error percentage in the key phases of the sets will be necessary.
