Tunisian international strengthens Lube

According to information from the Italian specialized websitevolleyball.it, La Cucine Lube Civitanova has reached an agreement to acquire Tunisian outside hitter Hamza Hfaiedh. The player was born on December 28, 2002, is 192 cm tall, and comes from Étoile Sportive du Sahel, having also had a stint in France with AL Caudry Volley-Ball during the season. Last year, he was called up by Camillo Placi to the Tunisian national team for the World Championship in the Philippines. There, the Africans reached the round of 16, where they lost to the Czech Republic 0:3, with Hfaiedh, wearing jersey number 9, participating in that match.

The transfer of Hamza Hfaiedh can also be seen as a move related to personnel changes in Civitanova's squad. Last month, the club parted ways with Iranian outside hitter Poriya, which left a void in that very position.

Therefore, it is not excluded that the acquisition of the Tunisian volleyball player is aimed at filling the vacant spot and providing an additional option in reception for the decisive part of the season.
At this stage, there is no separate official announcement from the club, but Italian media present the transfer as a reinforcement for the decisive phase of the campaign.
