Allianz Bulgaria became the official insurer of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation and a national partner of the Men's European Volleyball Championship, which will take place in Sofia from September 9 to 22, 2026.

The partnership comes at a time when volleyball continues to be one of the sports with the strongest traditions and successes for Bulgaria, and the support is directed both towards the men's national team and all other national squads, with a special emphasis on aspiring athletes.

Boris Palichev, CEO of Allianz Bulgaria, emphasized that the commitment to volleyball is linked to the consistent development and growth of generations of players and the creation of conditions for them to be fully concentrated on their performance on the court.

Lyubomir Ganev, President of the BVF, expressed satisfaction with the agreement, stating that it is important for the federation that national athletes receive security and support from a company with global experience and a leading position in insurance.

The agreement solidifies the shared vision for sustainable development, partnership, and care for the health and safety of Bulgarian national volleyball players in their preparation for future international challenges.
