Hristo Iliev, the legend of Bulgarian volleyball, submitted an application today stating that he will run for a member of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation (BVF) Management Board at the upcoming General Assembly of the federation next month, volleys.bg exclusively learned. Iliev was the head of the largest volleyball region "Mizia" but was removed from the Management Board on August 16. The election of a new president and governing bodies will be on September 28. This happened after a group of clubs requested an early convocation (at the end of July) of the highest forum of the association that governs Bulgarian volleyball. However, an extraordinary Management Board blocked this desire and scheduled the event for the end of September.
Tomorrow is the deadline for nominating candidates for president of our native volleyball headquarters.
