Nikolay Kolev and PAOK with an important away victory, the center with an important contribution to the success

PAOK defeated Milon away with a 3:1 set score (27:25, 29:31, 25:20, 26:24) in one of the most contested matches of the round in the Greek Volley League, staying in the fight for the top of the standings.

Besides the brilliant Fernando Hernandez (26 points), Nikolay Kolev also played an important role in the victory. The middle blocker finished the match with 8 points, recording a +3 efficiency, 2 blocks, and a 55% attack success rate. Kolev was particularly important in key rallies, as it was his block at the end of the fourth set that sealed the match and brought victory to PAOK.

Kolev was stable throughout the entire match, including in the most tense moments. In the first set, he participated in a comeback from 22:24 when, together with Hernandez, he clinched the set with a score of 27:25. In the decisive set, the middle blocker once again showed composure and a precise feel for net play, which tipped the scales in favor of the team from Thessaloniki.

With this victory, PAOK accumulated 26 points and remains close behind the leaders, while Nikolay Kolev's performance once again underscored his importance in the team's rotation, especially in high-pressure and evenly matched games.
