Lyubo Ganev – Autosvyat (Ruse) is the first winner in the history of the Bulgarian Cup – Women's Higher League. In the tournament final, played in front of a full house at the "Dunav" hall in Ruse, the home team prevailed over Spartak (Varna) with a score of 3:1 (25:13, 23:25, 25:14, 25:20).
The match offered dynamic and emotional volleyball, with the Ruse team managing to assert dominance in three of the four sets. After a convincing start, the Varna team equalized, but in the decisive moments, Lyubo Ganev – Autosvyat once again took control and led the match to success.
Ivaila Kireva stood out with the greatest individual contribution to the victory, earning the Most Valuable Player award for her consistent performance throughout the tournament.
The Bulgarian Cup – Women's Higher League was presented to the winners by the Mayor of Ruse Municipality, Pencho Milkov, and the final evening turned into a true celebration for the city's volleyball fans.
An interesting fact about the historic triumph is that one of the coaches of the trophy winners is Sasho Todorov – the first coach in the career of the current president of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation, Lyubomir Ganev.
