Bulgarian middle blocker Borislava Saikova will finish the current season outside Bulgaria, according to volleyball.it. The 186 cm tall volleyball player, born on July 14, 2000, is parting ways with Maritsa (Plovdiv) and will wear the jersey of Talmassons, which competes in Women's Serie A2 in Italy.

According to the authoritative website, Saikova will reinforce the Italian team in the decisive part of the championship, with her main role being to strengthen the play in the middle in the battle for Pool Promozione – the phase that determines the teams with a chance for promotion to the elite league.
At the same time, Maritsa refutes this information on social media: "Regarding information that has appeared in the media space concerning the transfer of the Yellow-Blues' volleyball player Borislava Saikova to the Italian club Talmassons, VC Maritsa (Plovdiv) states that this information is not true."
Borislava Saikova has an active contract with Maritsa and will not transfer to another club at this time.
The club calls on the media and fans to rely solely on information published through the official channels of VC Maritsa (Plovdiv).
