Lazar Larazov joined the staff of the Russian Fakel-Yamal (Novy Urengoy)

The Bulgarian coach Lazar Lazarov is now part of the staff of the men's "Fakel" (Novy Urengoy), which finished fourth in the Russian championship. Lazarov announced this for volleyweek.bg. "Yes, as of yesterday, I am physically with "Fakel" as an assistant coach. Here, they categorize it as a coach-analyst. Apparently, there is a difference from an ordinary assistant coach. And otherwise, we agreed with the club at the end of June. Today we even start with the official matches - we play against Plamen Konstantinov and "Lokomotiv" Novosibirsk," Lazarov clarified. A day later, the team plays against Asparuh Asparuhov's team - Kuzbass (Kemerovo).
This refers to the Legends Cup for men, which starts today and will be held in Krasnoyarsk and Kazan. The eight best teams from the last Russian championship are divided into two groups, where they will play in two rounds. The two best teams will advance to the Final Four (October 5-6), where they will compete for the trophy and 10 million rubles.
