Lega Pallavolo Serie A officially published the program for the two most important tournaments outside the championship in the men's SuperLega – the Final Four of the Del Monte ® Italian Cup and the Del Monte ® Supercup. In the 2025/2026 season, the competitions will take place within less than a month, but in a different sports and organizational context.
The Italian Cup retains its traditional format – a Final Four over two consecutive days in Bologna. The Supercup, on the other hand, will be played at an unusual time, after being postponed from the autumn to late winter due to organizational problems and the abandonment of the option to host it outside Italy.
All times below are Bulgarian time.
Del Monte ® Italian Cup – SuperLega
Unipol Arena, Bologna – February 7 and 8, 2026
The Final Four tournament for the Italian Cup will once again bring together four leading teams in direct eliminations, where every set is decisive, and there is no room for error.
| Date | Phase | Match | Start Time (Bulgaria) | Broadcast |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| February 7 (Saturday) | Semifinal | Itas Trentino – Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza | 16:30 | Rai Play, VBTV |
| February 7 (Saturday) | Semifinal | Rana Verona – Sir Susa Scai Perugia | 19:00 | Rai Sport, VBTV |
| February 8 (Sunday) | Final | Winner SF1 – Winner SF2 | 19:00 | Rai Sport, VBTV |
The one-hour shift makes the program extremely convenient for the Bulgarian audience. The second semifinal and the final fall into a classic evening slot, which guarantees high viewership. In the Final Four format, service stability and block organization often decide the fate of the match in a single set.
Del Monte® Supercup – Superleague
PalaTrieste, Trieste – February 28 and March 1, 2026
This season, the Supercup will be played with a completely changed calendar. Instead of being an opening tournament, it will be held at the end of winter, after being rescheduled due to organizational difficulties and the rejection of the idea of hosting it outside Italy.
| Date | Phase | Match | Start Time (Bulgaria) | Broadcast |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| February 28 (Saturday) | Semifinal | Itas Trentino – Sir Susa Scai Perugia | 16:30 | Rai Play, VBTV |
| February 28 (Saturday) | Semifinal | Cucine Lube Civitanova – Rana Verona | 19:00 | Rai Sport, VBTV |
| March 1 (Sunday) | Final | Winner SF1 – Winner SF2 | 16:00 | Rai 2, VBTV |
Placing the Supercup so close to the decisive phase of the season also changes its significance. Teams are already at full competitive pace, and the focus is on rotations, physical freshness, and risk management. In this context, the trophy has not only prestigious but also psychological value.
