The Bulgarian outside hitter and national team player was among the key figures for the success in the packed "Andreas Varikas" hall. Atanasijevic finished the match with20 points (19/37 attacks, 1 block, 57% positive reception – 40% perfect), showing stability in all elements of the game and a leadership presence in crucial moments.
Her experience was most evident in the tie-break, when with a series of important plays she helped Panionios assert control over the game's development and close the match at 15:12. With this success, the "blue-reds" recorded their 10th victory since the start of the season and solidified their positions at the top of the standings, and Elitsa Vasileva-Atanasijevic's contribution once again highlighted her importance to the team in key matches.
