The Bulgarian U17 men's national team lost to Italy 2:3 (25-19, 24-26, 25-20, 16-25, 10-15) in their last friendly match, played this evening at the "Levski Sofia" hall in the capital.

Aleksandar Dobrev scored 27 points, the same as Italian national player Federico Argano. Dimitar Dobrev added 10 points. The Bulgarians once again showed very strong blocking play, scoring 15 points on this element. Today, however, we did not have an ace.
On Thursday, Bulgaria's final squad for the World Championship will be announced. Our first match is against Spain on Saturday, August 24, at 5:00 PM in the "Levski Sofia" hall.
