First win for LOVB Atlanta, Miroslava Paskova also included

LOVB Atlanta recorded their first win of the season after defeating LOVB Austin 3:1 (25:22, 25:19, 20:25, 25:23) in a match played at OTE Arena. The home team controlled most of the game and deservedly reached victory, despite the visitors' resistance in the third set.

For Atlanta, Tessa Grubbs was the top scorer with 26 points, and McKenzie Adams added 14 points. The team showed stability in both attack and defense, managing to close out the match in four sets after a hotly contested finish.

From Austin's squad, Asjia O'Neal stood out with 14 points and Logan Eggleston with 11 points, who kept their team in the match until the very end, but it was not enough for a comeback.

Bulgarian Miroslava Paskova made an episodic appearance for LOVB Atlanta; her participation was limited, but she recorded minutes in her second official match for the team and contributed to the rotation in key moments.

The success gives an important psychological boost to Atlanta, which is now looking forward to its next championship matches, facing Nebraska on January 19th.
