Lokomotiv Avia with an easy win over Slavia and continues to be the leader in the standings

Lokomotiv Avia (Plovdiv) sent a clear signal with their very first match after the championship resumed that they had no intention of giving up their leading position. The team from Plovdiv played a solid and mature game in the capital and left no doubt as to which was the more dominant team.

In a match from the 12th round of the efbet Super League, Naiden Naidenov's team triumphed over Slavia as guests with a 3:0 (25:17, 25:15, 25:18) victory, controlling the game in all sets and showing no significant fluctuations at any point in the match, played in the "Panayot Pondalov" hall.

With this success, Lokomotiv Avia remains at the top of the provisional standings with a record of 10 wins, 1 loss, and 28 points. For the "Whites" from Sofia, the situation continues to be critical – they are in last, 11th place, with only 1 win, 10 losses, and 2 points.

Match Development

The guests started confidently in the first set, imposed a high serving tempo, and quickly built a lead which they maintained until the end. In the second set, Lokomotiv's superiority was even more pronounced, and Slavia struggled to find solutions against the stable block and organized defense of the Plovdiv team. The third set followed a similar scenario – controlled play by the leader and a logical end to the match without unnecessary complications.

Individual Statistics

The top scorer for the winners was Kristiyan Aleksov with 13 points, who impressed with an 89% attack efficiency, adding 2 blocks and 2 aces. Todor Valchev and Julien Georgiev finished with 11 points each and also made important contributions to the decisive victory.

For Slavia, the only player with a double-digit score was Georgi Kostadinov with 11 points, including 1 ace and 50% attack efficiency, but this proved to be utterly insufficient against the well-organized visiting team.
