Civitanova's official position clarified the future of Iranian opposite Poriya Hossein Hanzade and confirmed that the separation between the two parties did not proceed by mutual agreement. The Italian giant announced that the volleyball player left unilaterally, without officially stating his new destination.
In a statement published on the club's official website, A.S. Volley Lube informed that Hanzade personally notified the management of his departure to an 'as yet unknown destination'. The club describes the decision as unfounded and unilateral and emphasizes that it will protect its interests through all available channels.
This practically means that the Iranian's contract was not terminated by mutual agreement, and Civitanova views the case as a breach of contractual obligations.
As we already wrote, according to the Iranian publicationVarzesh3and the Russiangazetta.ru, the 21-year-old opposite had reached a preliminary agreement with the Russian club Dynamo-Ural and was ready to join the team in the coming days.
However, Lube's official statement indicates that the Italian club does not recognize such a development as a settled transfer, which calls into question how the next step in Hanzade's career will be finalized.
Meanwhile, on social media, Civitanova fans turned their attention to another possible scenario – the return of Yuri Romano. The Italian opposite is already the subject of transfer speculation, and according to information from foreign sources, he is also linked with teams from Poland.
At this stage, however, there is no official position from the club confirming such intentions.
The situation around Hanzade remains open and outside the purely sports context, and it is not excluded that the case may have legal developments. At the same time, Civitanova will yet decide how to fill the void in its squad, and all other options remain in the realm of speculation until official confirmation.
