Bulgarian volleyball players in France are starting the second part of the championship with excellent individual statistics. After 13 rounds in Marmara SpikeLigue, two of our athletes are among the top 10 best scorers – a well-deserved recognition for their stable performance since the beginning of the season.
Venislav Antov (Tourcoing) is the most prominent Bulgarian name in the ranking. The national player holds third place among scorers with 268 points and is a key figure in the attack of one of the championship leaders. Vladimir Garkov (Saint-Nazaire) also finds a place in the top ten, showing consistency and significant influence in his team's offensive strategy.
An interesting detail is that among attackers, Antov is number 2 in the championship, while Garkov occupies 9th position – further proof of a strong Bulgarian presence on French soil. This clarification is important because it goes beyond the pure statistics of total points scored.
