In front of a full house at PalaPrata, Tinet played an almost flawless match and with a decisive 3:0 (25:21, 25:12, 25:21) climbed to the top of the Serie A2 standings. The success came against an opponent in excellent form, but the hosts dominated in all elements of the game.
Again, the young Bulgarian talents and the Zlatanov family were in the spotlight. Samuil Vulchinov (8 points) made key offensive contributions in crucial moments of the first set when Ravenna came dangerously close. Manuel Zlatanov (12 points), only 17 years old, started the match explosively – with a powerful attack and an ace right from the start, and in the third set, he led the visitors with a series of successful cross-court shots. On Ravenna's side, Hristiyan Dimitrov (5 points) fought at the net, but Tinet's strong block and defense limited his influence, especially in the second set.
Setter Alberini orchestrated the hosts' game with composure, and the stable attack (52% against 39% for Ravenna) and aggressive serving (10-1 aces in favor of the hosts) made the difference. After a convincing second set and a controlled finish in the third, Tinet deservedly achieved a clean victory and the top position – a true Christmas gift for the yellow-blues.
