Osaka Bluteon stopped Warta Zawiercie on the way to the Club World Championship final

Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie's dream of a Club World Championship final ended in Belém. The Polish team lost to Osaka Bluteon with 0:3 sets (17:25, 23:25, 19:25) in the semi-final, completely ceding the initiative to the excellently prepared Japanese squad.

Already in the first set, the Japanese imposed their tempo with stable defense and quick counterattacks, while Warta experienced serious reception problems. The second set was the most even, but after 21:21, a series of errors and a lack of effective serve deprived the Poles of a chance for a comeback. In the third set, Osaka Bluteon confirmed their superiority and closed the match without hesitation.

The leaders for the winners were Yuji Nishida and Miguel López, while for Warta, Michał Kwolék was the top scorer.

For Warta Zawiercie, the high number of points from opponent's errors was not enough to balance the match.

The Polish team will play for the bronze medals against the loser of the match between Perugia and Volei Renata Campinas, while Osaka Bluteon qualified for the final of the Club World Championship.
