The national men's under-20 team, who became Balkan champions yesterday, have returned to their base in Plovdiv. From here on August 22, they will depart by bus for Greece, where the European Championship for this age group starts on the 26th. The teams are divided into two groups - one in Arta, Greece, and the other in Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia, where the final four matches will also take place. Our group also includes the teams of the Czech Republic, Greece, Israel, Italy, Scotland, Slovenia, and Spain. Our team starts on the 26th against the strong team of Slovenia, and the outcome of this match largely determines our standing in the group. Our national team is scheduled to play two friendly matches in Greece.
