According to a publication in the Italian daily newspaperIl Gazzettino, the management of Imoco Volley Conegliano and head coach Daniele Santarelli reacted emphatically to the information that emerged in recent hours, linking him with Turkish clubs, most notably Fenerbahçe.
'Everything that has appeared is completely groundless. I haven't received any calls or offers. I am the coach of Prosecco Doc A. Carraro Imoco and I am happy. I only think about Conegliano and the Turkish national team - these are my two jobs,' Santarelli stated.
The club clearly emphasized that there are no disagreements between the coach and the management, nor any desire on his part to seek change, new incentives, or other teams. Santarelli's contract with Conegliano is valid at least until June 2027, and for this period, there is only one project for him - 'The Panthers'.
The yellow-blue club officially denied the speculations surrounding Santarelli's trip to Turkey, which created various versions in the public sphere - from attempts to recruit Giulia Bergmann, to complex scenarios according to which the Italian specialist had fallen within the sights of Turkish giants, led by Fenerbahçe, where Alessia Orro plays.
However, the response from Conegliano is unequivocal: there is no room for distraction and no room for other clubs. At least at this stage, Daniele Santarelli's future remains entirely in yellow-blue, with full focus on Imoco and his work with the Turkish national team.
