efbet Super Volley: Pirin solidified their rise, Neftochimik returned to winning ways

Pirin (Razlog) achieved its second consecutive and overall fifth victory for the season in efbet Super Volley, while Neftochimic 2010 (Burgas) responded with a decisive home win and returned among the leading teams in the standings. The interim 10th round offered clean 3:0 victories, which further intensified the battle at the top and bottom of the table before the last round of the first half of the season.

Pirin (Razlog) – Cherno More (Varna) 3:0 (25:20, 25:20, 25:19)

The team led by Blagovest Katrandzhiev defeated Cherno More (Varna) without much difficulty as hosts with a 3:0 (25:20, 25:20, 25:19) victory in an interim 10th-round match played in "Septemvri" hall. The Razlog team controlled the game in all three sets, imposing stable play on serve and in attack.

With this success, Pirin climbed to 5th place in the provisional standings with 5 wins, 4 losses, and 15 points. Cherno More remains in 9th position with 1 win, 8 losses, and 5 points.

The most valuable players for Pirin were Zlatko Kyosev – 16 points (3 aces, 43% attack efficiency, and 40% positive reception – +12), as well as Mariyan Nakov with 15 points (1 ace and 56% attack efficiency – +5).
For Cherno More, the Cameroonian opposite Marcel Guyondong was the only player with a double-digit score – 13 points (1 block, 2 aces, and 50% attack efficiency – +3).

In the final, 11th round of the first half of the season, Pirin will visit CSKA, while the Varna team will play away against Deya Sport (Burgas). Both matches are on Monday (December 22) at 18:00.

Neftochimic 2010 (Burgas) – Dunav (Ruse) 3:0 (25:23, 25:21, 25:23)

The volleyball players of Neftochimic 2010 (Burgas) returned to winning ways after two consecutive losses, cleanly defeating Dunav (Ruse) – 3:0 (25:23, 25:21, 25:23) in "Boycho Branzov" hall. The Burgas team demonstrated greater stability in the key moments of each set and prevented any surprise.

Thus, even before the end of the derby between Levski Sofia and CSKA, Francesco Cadeddu's team climbed to second place in the provisional standings with 7 wins, 2 losses, and 20 points. Dunav remains in the penultimate 10th position with 1 win, 8 losses, and 4 points.

Adi Osmanovic was outstanding for Neftochimic with 19 points (1 block and 58% attack efficiency – +16). Kaloyan Balabanov and Ricardo Junior added 12 and 11 points, respectively.
For Dunav, Alex Nikolov was at his usual high level and also scored 19 points (1 block and 53% attack efficiency – +11).
