Those who submitted the petition for an extraordinary Reporting and Election Assembly to be held at the end of July will take the matter to court, after it became clear today that the Management Board of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation (BVF) decided that the General Assembly will take place on September 28, 2024, in "Vitosha" Hall (3 Baku Street) in Sofia. The decision was taken unanimously at an extraordinary meeting of the BVF Management Board, which was held in "Conference 5" Hall at Park Hotel Moskva, the federation's website announced.

The choice of date for the General Assembly is related to the expiration of the 4-year development program (2021-2024) and the proposal for a new one for the next 4-year period (2025-2028, inclusive).
"At the first General Assembly, the BVF Report for the 4-year period of the Development Program must be adopted, and given that the last competition under the current program ends on September 7, in order for us to have technological time to prepare the documents, the earliest possible date for the General Assembly is September 28", commented to the federation's websiteLyubomir Ganev, President of the BVF.

The federation's website also published the Invitation to clubs:

1/ Adoption of the report of the Management Board of the BVF on the 4-year Volleyball Development Program for the period from 2021 to 2024 inclusive.The MANAGEMENT BOARD of the non-profit association "BULGARIAN VOLLEYBALL FEDERATION" - Sofia, registered in the Register of Legal Entities with Non-Profit Purpose at the Registry Agency under the Ministry of Justice with UIC 121268102, pursuant to Art. 26, para. 1 of the Non-Profit Legal Entities Act, convenes a General Assembly of its members on September 28 (twenty-eighth), 2024 (two thousand twenty-fourth year), at 10:00 (ten) o'clock in Sofia, 3 Baku Street, Vitosha Hall, with the following agenda:

1/ Adoption of the report of the Management Board of the BVF on the 4-year Volleyball Development Program for the period from 2021 to 2024 inclusive.2/ Adoption of a new 4-year Volleyball Development Program for the period from 2025 to 2028 inclusive, in accordance with the National Program under Art. 7, item 2 of the Physical Education and Sports Act.

3/ Decision on the dismissal of the members of the Management Board of the Association.
4/ Decision on the dismissal of the Chairman of the Management Board of the Association.
5/ Decision on the election of new members of the Management Board of the Association and determination of the term of office of the Management Board.
6/ Decision on the election of a new Chairman of the Management Board of the Association.
The legal representatives of the members or their authorized representatives, with a written power of attorney with a notarized signature, are invited to participate in the work of the General Assembly. In the absence of a quorum at the announced starting time of the general assembly (10:00 AM), pursuant to Art. 27 of the Non-Profit Legal Entities Act, the general assembly will be held from 11:00 AM on September 28, 2024, at the same place and with the same agenda.
6/ Вземане на решение за избор на нов Председател на Управителния съвет на Сдружението.

 Поканват се законните представители на членовете или техните упълномощени представители, с писмено пълномощно с нотариално заверен подпис, да вземат участие в работата на Общото събрание. При липса на кворум към обявения начален час на общото събрание (10.00 часа), на основание чл. 27 от ЗЮЛНЦ общото събрание ще се проведе от 11.00 часа на 28.09.2024г., на същото място и при същия дневен ред.
