As we first predicted a month ago, the Italian club has made an offer to Bulgarian international Martin Atanasov, who currently plays for Vero Volley Monza. The answer was not long in coming – Atanasov has rejected the offer.

According to sources close to the club from Brianza, the agreed terms between the outside hitter and Vero Volley were better than the offer from the team from Italy's second-largest city.

It still remains unclear whether Atanasov will leave Monza after his three-month contract expires, as there is no shortage of interest in the silver medalist from the World Championship in the Philippines.
