Virtus Aversa recorded their first success under the new coach Marco Graziosi, after prevailing 3:1 (28:26, 22:25, 25:23, 25:17) over Romeo Sorrento in the derby played in the "PalaGiacci" hall.

For Sorrento, Bulgarian international Preslav Petkov appeared as a starter, scoring 10 points, including a significant contribution in attack during the team's good minutes in the second set.
