Dea Sport won dramatically in Stara Zagora and took important points

Deya Sport (Burgas) left Stara Zagora with a valuable win after overcoming Beroe 2016 in one of the most interesting matches of the 7th round of efbet Super Volley. The visitors prevailed after a five-set clash with a score of 3:2 (25:19, 26:24, 24:26, 22:25, 15:13) in a match that kept the spectators in the stands of Ivan Vazov Hall in suspense until the last ball.

Valentin Bratoev was the top scorer for the Burgas team, finishing the match with 21 points, including 1 block, 3 aces, 57% attack efficiency, and 59% positive reception. His role in key moments, as well as his stable performance in both phases, played a crucial part in the victory.

Hadi Shourkabi added 9 points, while Tsvetelin Tsvetanov and substitute Georgi Bachvarov finished with 8 points each. Although they didn't have such high efficiency, they provided the necessary support when the team's attack was struggling.

For the hosts, Plamen Shekerdzhiev was the top scorer with 20 points, including 2 blocks and 1 ace, as well as 45% attack efficiency and 57% positive reception. Velizar Chernokozhev contributed 17 points and 47% attack efficiency.

The match unfolded like a characteristic 'emotional roller coaster'. Deya Sport started more focused and won the first two sets, but Beroe showed determination and gradually took the initiative in the third and fourth sets. The Stara Zagora team improved their serve and block, which made things difficult for the visitors and led to an equalizer.

The tie-break started completely evenly. At4:5Deya Sport had a minimal lead, but it wasn't enough to give a sense of control. When the score reached9:10, neither side could pull away, and the tension in the hall grew with every point exchange.

Shortly after, Beroe fell slightly behind –10:12. This was the first moment Deya Sport gained a more tangible psychological advantage, although the difference remained completely surmountable. The final rallies, however, tilted the scales towards the visitors.

The victory allowed the team from Burgas to strengthen its position in the middle of the table. Deya now has 3 wins, 4 losses, and 9 points, placing them 7th.
Beroe remains with 10 points but misses the chance to further distance themselves from their pursuers and stays in 5th position.
