Champion BOGDANKA LUK Lublin achieved an expected and fully deserved away victory over Ślepsk Malow Suwałki with a score of 0:3 (21:25, 18:25, 19:25) in a Polish PlusLiga match played on November 29, 2025.
The match had a special nuance due to the presence of two Bulgarian national players – Alex Grozdanov for Lublin and Asparuh Asparuhov for Suwałki.
From the very first ball, Bogdanka dictated the pace. The team, led by the incredible power of Wilfredo León and the stability of setter Marcin Komenda, did not allow the hosts to find their rhythm.
Ślepsk's sporadic flashes of brilliance – mainly through opposite Bartosz Filipiak – were not enough to stop the visitors' momentum.
Grozdanov played one of his strongest matches of the season, stabilizing the middle both in blocking and attacking.
Marcin Komenda was logically named MVP of the match – 3 points (2 aces, 1 block) – leading the champions' game with precision and control.

Performance of the Bulgarians:
| Name | Points | Blocks | Attack efficiency | Positive reception | Perfect reception |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Alex Grozdanov | 8 | 4 | 37% | - | - |
| Asparuh Asparuhov | 5 | 2 | -10% | 4% | 14% |
Lublin's three main attackers – León and Sasak with 14 points each, and Eno with 11 – showed exceptionally consistent productivity, which rendered Suwałki's defense helpless. Grozdanov impressed with 4 blocks. The visitors' balanced attack was key to their decisive success.
Only Bartosz Filipiak from the hosts finished with a double-digit score – 16 points – but his efforts were not enough for real competition. Asparuhov had a difficult match – weak reception and negative attack efficiency (-10%), which further hindered the organization of the game.
The victory sent Bogdanka Lublin to third place in the standings, solidifying their position as one of the leading contenders.
Slepsk, for its part, after yet another defeat, dropped to last place, which puts the team under serious pressure before the next rounds.
