Lokomotiv Avia achieved another convincing home victory, defeating Pirin 3:0 (25:23, 25:22, 25:16) in a match filled with dynamics, long rallies, and high technical skill.
The first set offered the most emotions. The play was attractive, featuring powerful serves from captain Todor Valchev and brilliant defensive digs from libero Martin Ivanov. The hosts took a three-point lead twice, but Pirin leveled the score at 22:22. In the decisive moments, the class of the Plovdiv team prevailed, and the set was closed at 25:23.
The second set began with another advantage for Lokomotiv – 5:2, but the guests equalized at 10:10. Then, young outside hitter Kristiyan Aleksov and opposite hitter Julian Georgiev erupted, once again providing the necessary momentum for a lead and a 25:22 victory.
The third set proceeded under Lokomotiv's complete control. Setter Vladi Stankov continued his precise 'orchestration,' while middle blockers Kiril Kolev, Ivaylo Damyanov, and substitute Aleksandar Nikolov dominated at the net. There was no intrigue, and after 25:16, the hosts secured a clean victory.
The top scorer in the match was Julien Georgiev with 14 points, while Valchev and Damyanov added 11 each. Ivaylo Damyanov was named MVP.

Pirin relied mainly on Gadzhanov and Nakov (10 points each), but their low attack percentage and unstable reception prevented them from maintaining rhythm. Although they scored nine blocks, the guests lagged in serving performance and attack efficiency.
Lokomotiv won thanks to their high level of reception and attack, stable defense, and varied setting. Pirin tried to counter with blocking, but the hosts demonstrated greater maturity in key rallies.
