Bulgaria recorded a second 3:0 victory (14:25, 18:25, 18:25), this time against Albania at the Balkan Men's U20 Championship in Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia. Once again, Aleksandar K D ndev was the top scorer with 14 points (1 block, 1 ace), followed by Kostadin Kozelov with 10 (3 blocks, 2 aces).

The match will be remembered for the barrage of service errors by the Bulgarians - 24, almost an entire set.

Kristiyan Andreev, Tomislav Ruse, and for a longer period Zhasmin Velichkov (4 points), who replaced the unconvincing Kristiyan Titriyski, entered the game. Velichkov started the third set as a starter and played until the end. There was intrigue only in the second part, when the Albanians approached us by 2 points (17:19), but overall the Bulgarians were better in attack and block and did not allow a surprise.
