Elitsa Atanasijevic and Panionios two games away from the next round of the Challenge Cup

Panionios Betsson is just two sets away from a place among the top 16 in the Women's Challenge Cup, after defeating Romanian Brasov 3-0. The Greek team remains a favorite for qualification, and if they win in Romania on December 2, they will face the winner of the Apredoorn – Antalos pair.

⭐ Elitsa Vasileva-Atanasijević – the leader of success

The Bulgarian receiver played a strong match and finished with 14 points, +13, three blocks, 75% positive reception and 50% perfect reception, recording 58% in attack. Her teammate Polina Rahimova scored 14 points (2 aces, 1 block). For the opponent, Simina Strachinescu recorded 15 points (1 ace, 2 blocks).
Panionios' advantage in blocking (10/5) and fewer errors - only 15 against 22 for the visitors, made the difference, while stable reception allowed for a more diverse attack organization.
