Slavia's outside hitter Nikol Duleva will finish the season in the United Arab Emirates, officially joining the women's volleyball team of Al Wasl (Dubai). Slavia confirmed the information after the club was incorrectly spelled as 'Al Asay' in the BNT (Bulgarian National Television) material and several reprints, a name that does not correspond to a real existing team in Dubai.

'I am continuing in Dubai. There I will complete the second half of the season with the Al Wasl team. I am leaving next Sunday. And the championship starts in January,' Duleva told the national television.
Al Wasl is one of the most recognizable multi-sport clubs in the Emirates, with a highly developed women's volleyball structure and participation in the local championship. The club was founded in the 1970s and traditionally invests in foreign players to enhance its competitiveness. Its women's volleyball team regularly participates in the UAE championship and is among the leading teams in the region.
