Levski survived a marathon against Beroe and snatched a dramatic victory after a tie-break in Stara Zagora

The champion Levski Sofia snatched an extremely difficult fourth consecutive victory since the start of the season in efbet Super Volley. Nikolay Zhelyazkov's team made a dramatic comeback as a guest against Beroe 2016 in Stara Zagora and won after 3:2 sets.

First set – 26:24 for Beroe

Levski started strong with two aces from Todor Skrimov and quickly took the lead, maintaining their advantage until 20:15. Beroe, however, brought back the intrigue with a run by Rangel Vitekov and equalized at 21:21, after which they managed to turn the set around and close it after two attack errors by Lyutskanov.

Second set – 25:19 for Levski

The champions responded with 5 consecutive points for 7:2 and controlled the tempo. Beroe managed to get within two points, but three strong performances by Skrimov – an accurate attack and two consecutive aces – tied the match.

Third set – 25:17 for Beroe

The hosts started strong with blocks by Mechkarov and Hanushek, plus three aces by Spas Bayrev. The difference grew to 15:7 and Beroe dictated the game until the end to take the lead in the score again.

Fourth set – 25:23 for Levski

Levski returned to the match with a flying start – 9:2 after two more bombs from Skrimov's serve. Beroe, however, did not give up and reduced the deficit to 20:19, but errors by Ivanov and Vitekov at a crucial moment allowed the visitors to equalize the sets.

Tie-break – 15:8 for Levski

At the court change, Levski led 8:6, after which Beroe collapsed under their own errors. "The Blues" pulled away to 13:7 and without faltering closed out the match for the valuable victory.
