Dimitar Dimitrov with 20 points, but Russell (37) stopped OK Saving in a tie-break

The Korean Air team achieved their sixth consecutive victory in the South Korean men's V-League after defeating OK Saving Bank 3:2 sets in a home match in Incheon. The match was evenly contested, with several turnarounds, and the main figures were American Kyle Russell and Bulgarian Dimitar Dimitrov.

Korean Air won with scores of 27:25, 23:25, 23:25, 25:19, and 15:10, with Kyle Russell being the top scorer of the match with 37 points. He was the main factor for the victory, as his decisive attacks at the end of the first set and his strong serve in the fifth set made the difference.

For OK Saving Bank, Cha Ji-hwan was the top scorer with 24 points, and Dimitar Dimitrov scored 20, being the second-highest scorer for his team. The Bulgarian opposite hitter stood out with two aces and 41% attack efficiency, as well as participating in rallies that helped his team equalize the score in the third set, after his team was trailing from 11:14 to 21:21.

In the fourth set, Korean Air reached set point at 24:15, and a block against an attack by Dimitrov closed out the set and tied the match at 2:2.

In the tie-break, the hosts took the lead at 8:7, made a run of three points, and at 13:9, Russell scored a point from a serve, before Jeong Ji-seok ended the match with a block.
