Another one of the cities that will host the Volleyball World Finals in Poland in 2027 has been announced. After Gdansk and Olsztyn, Lodz and the Lodz Voivodeship are joining the hosting of the tournament and will organize two groups without the participation of the hosts, as well as matches from the Round of 16 and quarter-finals.
The news comes against the backdrop of Bulgaria's excellent performance – the silver medalist from the World Cup in the Philippines – and the growing interest in the upcoming championship, which will determine three more teams that will directly qualify for the Olympic Games. For the 'Lions,' this means another important arena on the path to an Olympic quota.
