Neftochimic reached the 1/16 finals of the Challenge Cup after a convincing success in Burgas

Neftochimic's volleyball players fulfilled their mission in front of their home crowd at the Boycho Branzov hallBoycho Branzovrecorded another victory over the Swiss Chênois Genève – this time with 3:1 sets (23:25, 25:11, 25:20, 25:22). Thus, the team from Burgas, led by Francesco Cadeddu, confirmed its qualification for the 1/16 finals of the European tournament, having already had an advantage from the first match.

Neftochimic deservedly advances and in the next stage will face Israeli Maccabi Tel Aviv, who eliminated Spanish Pamesa Teruel.

The Bulgarian team lost the first set, but the reaction was instantaneous. Cadeddu's team dominated in attack, the block play was at a very high level, and the physical superiority was clearly evident in the second and third sets.
