The Bulgarian women's national team U20 remained without a medal at the European Championship. The consolation is that we will definitely qualify for next year's World Championship, our volleyball headquarters boasted.
The Bulgarians remained in third place in Group A of the tournament in Sofia. For a place in the final four, Croatia had to beat Belgium, but the opposite happened - 3:1 for the "Red Devils". Thus, the last match of the group, Bulgaria - Turkey, is irrelevant for the final standings. The Turkish team is the leader, and ours cannot be displaced from the third position. Belgium is second.

According to the regulations of the world federation FIVB, the first six teams from the Old Continent go to the World Championship. In Group B, which is being played in Dublin, no one can displace Italy and Poland from the two leading positions. On the last day, the Czech Republic and Finland will wage an indirect battle for third place.
