The fifth round of the Women's Division A1 in Romania began with a derby between Dinamo and CSM București. The match offered a good rhythm, but the winner was never seriously in doubt – the hosts won 3:1 in sets, taking all their successful sets to 16.
The only set that CSM managed to win – the second one – ended 25:22 in their favor, after a period in which Tortorici's team showed very stable play. In the remaining three sets, however, Dinamo completely dominated.
Among the standouts was the Bulgarian national opposite Radoslavina Marinova, who once again led the attack and finished with 17 points, the most for her team. She was supported by Veliconja Grbac and Miron, who added 15 each.
