While the national players are preparing for the new season, playing in their club teams, and half of them spend their free time playing games – including the well-known Alex and Moni Nikolov, something happened in the virtual volleyball world that made many fans raise their eyebrows.
In the online platform VM-Manager – an international fantasy game popular among volleyball players and gamers – one of the most colorful clashes to date was registered. And with a Bulgarian flavor.
VC Burgas – Big Boys Volley Team 3:0 (32:30,51:49, 25:18)
The curiosity comes from the second set – 51:49, a score that is hard to see even in continental championships, let alone in a real game. This extended set shows how "live" simulations sometimes resemble real volleyball – with dramatic points, numerous defensive saves, and continuous pursuit.
The original Facebook post emphasizes that the match is part of the Bulgarian division of the international platform VM-Manager – an online game where players manage virtual volleyball teams. It was there that the historic 51:49 set was registered, described asthe longest in the entire history of VM-Manager.
The authors of the post further emphasize the virtual atmosphere: "the arena erupts in joy," and the hero of the match is Petrov, who "seals the victory with a thunderous hit over the net."
These elements enhance the gaming character of the platform, which simulates not only matches but also a complete volleyball environment – crowd, tension, and emotion.
We remind you that in Bulgaria, fans also have their official platform – Fantasy Volley of the NVL, which this year launched its third season with updated rules, more realistic scoring, and even more serious competition.

Although we are talking about a virtual league, volleyball fans are not strangers to gaming. In fact:
many Bulgarian national players regularly play, especially during breaks between tournaments;
Moni Nikolov has repeatedly shared that games help him unwind;
the gaming world turns out to be another arena where volleyball players compete amicably.
That's why such moments from virtual simulations become amusing highlights that fans discuss – sometimes no less than real matches.
VM-Manager is unlikely to replace the real Superliga or national tournaments, but it certainly adds a pinch of humor, gaming emotion, and a touch of volleyball surrealism.
And when even virtual games carry a Bulgarian trace, interest is guaranteed.
