The champions started preparations for the new season - the men's team of "Levski Sofia" gathered for their first training session. Absent from the group are the U20 national players, who are part of Bulgaria's squad for the Balkan Championship in Serbia and the European Championship at the end of the month. Later, new additions Julius Firkal and Livan Osoria will also join the team. The "Blue" champions start the season by defending the Supercup, with the first match being against CSKA. An eternal derby will also open the regular season in October, after Nikolai Zhelyazkov's boys won the trophy precisely against this opponent.
