Maria Koleva and Dentil/Praia Clube learned the last participant in the Club World Championship

The last participant in the Women's Club World Championship in volleyball, which will be held in Sao Paulo (Brazil) from December 11 to 15, 2025, has become clear. According to publications in the Brazilian sports press, the last free quota will be taken by the American champion Orlando Valkyries.

The team from Orlando, one of the new projects in the professional league Major League Volleyball, won the US title in 2025 and will make its debut on the world stage. The squad includes established international names such as Thai setter Pornpun Guedpard and Serbian libero Teodora Pušić, who add serious class to the team.

🇧🇬 THE BULGARIAN ACCENT

The competition will also feature Bulgarian participation – outside hitter Maria Koleva will defend the colors of Dentil/Praia Clube, which won the South American Club Championship this season, and also took prize-winning places in national tournaments – bronze in the Superliga and second place in the Brazilian Supercup.

Thus, Koleva will be the only Bulgarian representative at the championship, which will bring together the strongest women's clubs on the planet in Sao Paulo. Her participation is further proof of the high level of Bulgarian volleyball players and their presence on the world stage.
