Alex Nikolov (Cucine Lube Civitanova) and Matey Kaziyski (Allianz Milano) will meet each other at the second edition of the Jesi Volley Cup, according to the preseason preparation calendar in the Italian Serie A. This is the second edition of the tournament, which this year will also feature champions Sir Susa Vim Perugia, as well as Vladimir Nikolov's former club Tours Volley-Ball, who are vice-champions of France. Lube won the cup in the first edition of the tournament.

Besides the four-team tournament, Lube's preseason preparation calendar includes three consecutive control matches with newcomer Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina, featuring Georgi Tatarov. The last tests before Lube's first official match are home games - against Cisterna Volley and Alberto Giuliani's Valsa Group Modena.
At the same time, the team has already started its preparation.

Lube's first match of the 80th edition of the Italian championship is on September 29 against Sonapar Padua.
