Ngapeth became MVP of the Olympic tournament for the second time in a row

French star Earvin Ngapeth became the MVP of the Paris 2024 volleyball tournament. The outside hitter led the hosts to their second consecutive gold and was once again chosen as the most valuable player of the Olympics, after also becoming the most valuable player in Tokyo 2020.

Ngapeth was particularly instrumental in France's impressive comeback in their quarter-final victory over Germany, where he recorded 21 points, his highest score in the tournament.
Although five French players were selected for the Paris 2024 Dream Team, he was one of two athletes who also made the list in Tokyo three years ago, along with libero Jenia Grebennikov.

Paris 2024 Dream Team:

Most Valuable Player: Earvin Ngapeth (France)

Best Outside Hitters: Earvin Ngapeth (France) and Trevor Clevenot (France)

Best Middle Blockers: Jakub Kochanowski (Poland) and Taylor Averill (USA)

Best Libero: Jenia Grebennikov (France)
